Air Tahiti Nui Appoints MG Media Communications
Tahiti’s national carrier, Air Tahiti Nui, has appointed travel and tourism specialists MG Media Communications to manage its public relations strategy in Australia and New Zealand.
The partnership took effect in March 2013 and complements MG Media’s existing relationship with Tahiti Tourisme.
Air Tahiti Nui General Manager New Zealand Australia Mark Hutchison said the relationship with MG Media was a natural fit given the agency’s long-standing association with Tahiti and experience in the aviation sector.
Air Tahiti Nui operates five A340-300 aircraft from its Tahiti base to Auckland, Tokyo, Paris and Los Angeles and code shares to 37 additional destinations. It is the only airline that flies from New Zealand to Europe via Tahiti and Los Angeles and one of only two carriers with direct flights from Auckland to Papeete.
Air Tahiti Nui offers regular non-stop flights from Auckland to Papeete.
MG Media Communications was established by former journalists Libby Moffet and Bill Gray in 1993.
