Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Introduces Icon+ Flow Generator Range

Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corporation Limited (NZSX:FPH, ASX:FPH) announced today that it has introduced F&P ICON+, the next generation of its flow generator range for use in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).

The F&P ICON+ series feature a simplified user experience, a stylish new colour and smart clinical technologies. These enhancements minimise the patient set-up and instruction time and maximise comfort and efficacy. The F&P ICON+ integrates seamlessly with InfoSmart™ Web, the company’s flexible compliance management solution to efficiently manage patient adherence in the most cost-effective way.

“ICON+ is rolling out to most of our major markets this month and combines extremely simple setup with our comfort enhancing Auto pressure setting, SensAwake responsive pressure relief and ThermoSmart humidifier systems, as well as our efficient cloud based technologies for compliance data recording and reporting” commented Michael Daniell, Fisher & Paykel Healthcare’s Chief Executive Officer.

“Our design team’s focus has been on simplicity and performance; which are essential to ensure comfortable, effective and efficient treatment. ICON+ perfectly complements our new Simplus, Eson and Pilairo masks. Initial patient and homecare provider response has been very positive”.
