Rinnai Appoints New Technical Compliance Manager

Press release: 8 May 2013

Rinnai Appoints New Technical Compliance Manager

Leading appliance solutions company Rinnai has appointed a new Technical Compliance Manager to join their successful team.

John Swarbrick has extensive leadership and technical experience and joins Rinnai from Aber Holdings Limited in Hamilton, where he was the Group Quality Assurance and Technical Manager.

Rinnai's General Manager for Sales and Marketing, Mark McCutcheon, says John will bring a wealth of knowledge to the team.

"John has a depth of senior professional technical know-how which he has applied across a broad variety of categories during his career to date, many of which are very relevant to our Rinnai business (including gas appliances, tanks and heat pumps)," he says.

Having been a member of the gas industry for 10 years, John recently undertook the prestigious task of helping to develop the new gas appliance safety regulations which come into force nationwide in July.

"I take an active part in the industry, and have sat on NZ standards committees such as the LPGA Technical Committee," says Swarbrick. "I've also chaired the Gas Equipment Suppliers Group."

"I'm passionate about the gas industry, and I'm looking forward to bringing that enthusiasm to Rinnai," he adds.

Married to a Kiwi, John moved to New Zealand from the UK in March 2004, following the birth of their twins William and Bethany, born in 2003. Since then, the avid nature-lover has welcomed his second son Harry in 2008.
