Accor Hotels snow how to be ‘Queen’ of Winter Games NZ
Accor’s four hotels in Queenstown – Sofitel Queenstown Hotel & Spa, Hotel St Moritz – MGallery Collection, Novotel Queenstown Lakeside and Mercure Queenstown Resort – have become the official accommodation providers of Winter Games NZ 2013.
An international sporting event, Winter Games NZ is the launch pad to the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia and will be held from 11-25 August in Queenstown and Lake Wanaka.
As part of the sponsorship, Accor’s Queenstown hotels are offering special accommodation rates during the Games which can be access via the Winter Games NZ 2013 website - www.wintergamesnz.com/travel.
In addition, the hotels will assist with hosting accommodation and facilities for event officials, Olympic committee members and VIPs during the Winter Games tournament.
More than 1,000 elite winter sports athletes from around the world will descend on the South Island’s spectacular Southern Alps to compete in no less than seven World Cup events over the 14-day competition.
