AA Spirit of Hospitality Award Finalists

AA Spirit of Hospitality Award Finalists – for Holiday Parks

Seven holiday parks have been named finalists in this year’s AA Spirit of Hospitality Award. All seven holiday parks are from the North Island in what is a complete turnaround from 2012 when five of the six finalists were from the South Island.

“The award is the supreme award for the holiday park sector. To be named as a finalist is important recognition of a holiday park’s commitment to providing quality service,” says Fergus Brown, Chief Executive of the Holiday Parks Association.

“We believe that customer service is the most important part of the holiday park experience. The variety of parks which make up the seven finalists proves that both big and small parks can compete when it comes to customer service,” says Mr Brown.”

TIA Chief Executive Martin Snedden congratulated the seven finalists.

“Camping is a great Kiwi tradition, and holiday parks are an integral part of that experience. Holiday park visitors also generate plenty of jobs and economic wealth for communities up and down the country. They are also valued TIA members.”

The seven finalists are:

All Seasons Holiday Park, Rotorua

Bowentown Beach Holiday Park, Waihi Beach

Cosy Corner Holiday Park, Mount Maunganui

Himatangi Beach Holiday Park

Martinborough TOP 10 Holiday Park

Miranda Holiday Park

Opunake Beach Kiwi Holiday Park

The winner will be announced at the Holiday Parks Conference & Trade Exhibition on the 4th of July.
