Kindly Creative Kiwi Leads Charge for Ethical Tourism

GOOD Travel Press Release
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Kindly Creative Kiwi Leads Charge for One Stop Ethical Tourism Shop

Wellington, New Zealand

Self proclaimed travel addict, and career humanitarian Eliza Raymond has embarked on an exciting venture to bring ethical travel options to everyone who sets out on a travel adventure.

GOOD Travel is an elegantly simple social enterprise strategy that will provide an easy to navigate website and smart device application. GOOD Travel will provide travelers a one stop shop to seek and find information on socially, environmentally and economically ethical operators and service providers anywhere in the world.

The idea is so good, it has been accepted as a finalist in the “Start Something That Matters” campaign to win $50,000USD in seed finance for the winning social enterprise entry.

“This is an incredible opportunity to win US$50,000 and get GOOD Travel off the ground. We are honoured to have been selected for this challenge. Now it’s all down to votes. We really want to win and would love the support of the Kiwi community. The majority of the contestants are based in the United States so let’s show them what we’re made of here New Zealand!” Eliza Raymond – Co-Founder GOOD Travel.

GOOD Travel is the only entrant with a Kiwi co-founder, so get out there and spread the word and encourage your friends and family to VOTE.

As with any social networking enterprise, GOOD Travel will provide a forum for people to leave advice and reviews on their experiences. This system will also reward operators and service providers for thinking and acting ethically in their own communities and toward the tourists who visit their destinations. GOOD Travel will support tourism service providers that contribute positively to their community by promoting them through what is hoped to be a globally recognized accreditation process which will ensure GOOD travelers are able to spot anything from GOOD accommodation to a GOOD cup of coffee.
