Infinity Investment Group Wins Property Award for Peninsula Bay, Wanaka

Infinity Investment Group’s Peninsula Bay residential community in Wanaka has won the Natural Habitats Urban Land Developments Award in the 2013 Property Council New Zealand Rider Levett Bucknall Property Industry Awards.

Marc Bretherton, Infinity Group general manager, said the Group was delighted the development had gained ‘Excellence’ and won the Best in Category Award.

“This award recognises Peninsula Bay as the pre-eminent residential community in all of New Zealand and is a testament to the vision and hard work of the whole team involved in the project”, said Mr Bretherton.

Peninsula Bay is situated on an elevated site bordering lake front reserve with panoramic views of the lake and mountains. It is well known for its high amenity including centrally located pool and recreational facilities.

“Infinity Investment Group has a clear vision for its residential developments – and that is to create communities not just build subdivisions,” said Mr Bretherton.

“That’s why we build community facilities such as those at Peninsula Bay which include swimming pool, hot pool, children’s pool, gym, changing rooms, barbecues and community rooms.

“The amenities we provide give neighbours a chance to meet each other and for their kids to play together, and as a result community bonds are formed.

“Peninsula Bay also represents excellence in both design and construction, with a very high standard of amenities and quality of finish throughout the development.

“30% of the total area is dedicated to open space reserves and walkways and access points have been provided into nearby mountain bike and walking trails which lead to the lake and river.

“Peninsula Bay residents can feel proud that they are living in New Zealand’s best residential community,” said Mr Bretherton

Peninsula Bay was first developed in 2007 Stages 1-4 of a total of six stages have been finished. To date, 200 lots have been developed and almost 100 houses have been constructed. When completed there will be a total of 340 lots.
