New Zealand’s hottest business talent will win a place in the inaugural Deloitte Festival of Fast Growth
The 2013 Deloitte Fast 50, the index for New Zealand’s fastest growing businesses, is open for entries from today. Entries close on 26 July and the 2013 list will be revealed on 6 November.
For the 13th year, high-growth Kiwi businesses are invited to benchmark their business growth against the hottest business talent that New Zealand has to offer.
National leader of the Fast 50 programme, Deloitte partner Stephen Nicholas, says past Fast 50 companies make up the who’s who of New Zealand business.
“The Deloitte Fast 50 programme is firmly established as a key barometer of business success and is the only index allowing companies large or small, public or private, to measure up and celebrate growth,” Mr Nicholas says.
For the first time in 2013, Deloitte will bring all that make the Fast 50 list to Auckland for a one day inspirational business event, the Deloitte Festival of Fast Growth, including international speakers, meaningful business workshops, networking opportunities and concluding with a celebration to count down the fastest growing companies from 50 to 1.
Mr Nicholas encourages all businesses to enter the 2013 Deloitte Fast 50 by filling out the simple online entry form at www.fast50.co.nz.
“You’ve got to be in it to win it. The index only ranks businesses that choose to participate,” he says.
“The entry process only takes 10 to 15 minutes, but the rewards from making the list are immeasurable. Businesses will receive considerable local and national media attention, raising their profile among the wider business community but also, and perhaps more critically, from investors looking for destinations for capital.”
“And not to be overlooked is the huge boost to staff morale from making the Deloitte Fast 50,” adds Mr Nicholas.
