New MD for Maersk Line NZ
Maersk Line has appointed Gerard Morrison to head the company’s New Zealand operations. A New Zealander, Gerard is currently Sales Director for Maersk Line Australia. He joined Maersk Line in 2006, having previously worked in the telecommunications and logistics industries in New Zealand, Japan, and the UK.
Gerard will begin in his new role at the end of September.
Current Maersk Line New Zealand Managing Director Julian Bevis is moving to Delhi to take up the role of Group Representative for the AP Moller-Maersk Group in South Asia. Prior to coming to New Zealand in 2008, Julian spent 12 years in India heading Maersk Line’s operations there.
