Kobo eReading App Now Available for BlackBerry 10 Smartphones

Kobo’s free, top-ranked eReading application brings more than 3.5 million books, with its superior, customisable reading experience, to BlackBerry 10 smartphone customers

AUCKLAND, New Zealand, July 10, 2013 – Kobo, a global leader in eReading, today announced that its free, award-winning eReading application is available for BlackBerry® Z10 and BlackBerry® Q10 smartphone customers. The app will enable Readers on-the-go to carry, browse and shop the more than 3.5-million books sold on Kobo’s eBookstore, as well as the ability to automatically sync their library across any device they own.

For the past three years, Kobo and BlackBerry® have successfully developed eReading apps for BlackBerry customers. BlackBerry 10 smartphone customers who download the Kobo app will receive Forbes.com blogger Jessica Hagy’s How to be Interesting After you Graduate. After Hagy’s “How to be Interesting” post on Forbes.com went viral, attracting more than 1.4 million viewers, Hagy captured her ideas in this quirky book about how to stand out from the crowd. The book, exclusive to Kobo, will be automatically loaded to a customer’s account upon download of the Kobo app.

Customers will also enjoy one of the newest Keep Moving Projects, Neil Gaiman’s A Calendar Of Tales, through the Kobo eReading app for free on BlackBerry 10.
