French Black Raspberry Spirit Stuns A-list Party Goers
A-list guests at Auckland Viaduct’s Soul Bar were stopped in their tracks recently by an unexpected flash fashion show from Chambord, the premium French Black Raspberry Liqueur and Flavoured Vodka.
The theme of the glamorous party was “Chambord loves not knowing where the night will take you” and while the 250 guests knew something was in store, none expected the mid-party fashion show fit for the runways of Paris.
Chambord’s origins were inspired by King Louis XIV’s visit to Chateau Chambord in the Loire Valley, France, during the 17th century - this event brought it into the 21st century with top local models adorned in Trelise Cooper couture arriving at the party in a convoy of new Mercedes.
“Showcasing this unique and versatile premium French Spirit, with a high quality fashion show in an exclusive location, is a great way to launch our Chambord Cocktail Month at Soul bar,” says Rebecca Burke from Hancocks, who represent Chambord in New Zealand. “It was standing-room only and everyone had a superb night of delicious cocktails and fashion.”
Filming of a short video took place throughout the day, from hair and make-up at Bettjemans to an impromptu runway through the Britomart fashion precinct, before the models finally arrived on the pink carpet at Soul Bar.
