Bayfair Overwhelmed By Frozen Yoghurt Lovers

It has been open less than a month, however Bayfair’s newest store, KiwiYo, is proving to be a hit with Bay of Plenty locals from young to old, families and even couples on date night!

Since opening on Saturday 29 June, keen Bayfair shoppers have been flocking to KiwiYo, keeping the store busy from open to close. The influx of customers has required staff to re-arrange the store furnishings to create more floor space in order to accommodate those looking to sample KiwiYo’s array of cool dessert options.

KiwiYo national marketing director, Chantal Janssen says they have been thrilled with the response. “The store has been flat-out since opening and I think it would be fair to describe our first few weeks open as a huge hit.

“Kiwis are proving to be huge fans of frozen yoghurt and we are happy we could bring the KiwiYo phenomenon to Bayfair and Bay of Plenty residents.”

The new concept food store, the first and only for the Bay of Plenty, offers locals the opportunity to serve their own frozen yoghurt and toppings, allowing customers to make unique creations suited to their tastebuds.

Louise Chapman, marketing manager at Bayfair says, “We’re so pleased to have KiwiYo open at Bayfair. This store has proved to be popular with customers and we think it will continue to be beneficial for Bayfair as a whole.”

The phenomenal response to KiwiYo Bayfair has been noticed in-store and online. Happy customers have been expressing their delight for the newest store at Bayfair on KiwiYo’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages by posting photos and positive feedback.

KiwiYo Bayfair is currently recruiting more staff in order to accommodate the influx of customers and expect that the coming weekends will see further surges in sales.
