Brandon Village good to go!
Brandon Village apartments located at 22 Brandon street have been given the all clear by engineers after being evacuated on Sunday night. Engineers have confirmed that it is structurally sound and other than some superficial cracks in plaster, the property is in a good state. Village Accommodation Group managing director Adam Cunningham said “we are very pleased the engineers have had a thorough look, Sunday was challenging for all guests of Brandon Village and although we were able to accommodate them in one of other 6 local properties until the all clear was given, it is good to be back up and running”. All other Village properties have been inspected and have no issues. Mr Cunningham said “we felt a responsibility to get all the properties inspected and signed off even though there appeared to be no damage, it gives everyone some peace of mind”.
