Community funder to hold public meeting

Community funder to hold public meeting

Northland community organisations will be able to find out about grant funding when they attend ASB Community Trust’s annual public meeting in Whangarei on 7 September.

The public meeting will be held at Whangarei’s ASB Leisure Centre, starting at 2pm.

ASB Community Trust makes grants to groups and projects in Auckland and Northland. Using funds from the sale of its shareholding in the Auckland Savings Bank, the Trust has granted more than $800 since being formed in 1988.

ASB Community Trust’s Chair Ken Whitney will present the annual report and results for the year, CEO Jennifer Gill will give an overview of plans for 2013 and Senior Grants Advisor Catherine George will explain how the Community Support Grants programme works.

Following the meeting, guests will be able to meet Trustees, while grants advisors will be available at information tables where community group representatives can find out how to apply for funding.

To confirm attendance, ASB Community Trust asks that you log on to rsvp.asbcommunitytrust.org.nz
