Make your commuting time productive with NZ Business Podcast

Make your commuting time productive by listening to the NZ Business Podcast

If you ever commute or exercise then you should make better use of that time by also listening to a podcast. This week the NZ Business Podcast launches – providing a way for both students and those in the business world to hear directly from some of New Zealand’s most successful leaders.

The NZ Business Podcast will launch this weekend with two episodes - one features Xero founder Rod Drury sharing new insights into the history and thinking behind Xero, the other episode has Olympic Gold Winner Hamish Carter hosting a discussion on leadership for the Sir Peter Blake Trust.

Spain, a regular commentator on technology and business related topics on TV News in NZ says “Our goal for the NZ Business Podcast is help New Zealanders become more successful. The stronger we become at leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation and business, the better the impact on our families and NZ’s economy.”

Spain says that he started thinking about producing podcasts after his car became his ‘mobile university’ in which each day he’d be learning about business and technology whilst driving to his office. He says anyone who walks, runs, goes to the gym, or commutes is in an ideal position to listen to podcasts without having to set aside extra time to do so.

Hosted by Paul Spain, the NZ Business Podcast follows in the footsteps of Spain’s NZ Tech Podcast which reached the top slot on Apple’s iTunes Podcast chart after just its third episode in early 2011. It continues to rank as the most popular dedicated podcast produced in NZ (i.e. excluding radio/TV syndicated content).
