Icon Film Distribution Appoints New NZ Distribution Partner

Icon Film Distribution today announced that it has appointed Roadshow Films NZ as their new theatrical distribution partner in New Zealand. This move represents an extension of Home Entertainment distribution relationship between the two companies and will be effective for releases from November 2013 onward, including FILTH on November 21 and the space adventure epic, ENDER’S GAME which releases in New Zealand on Boxing Day and a full slate of films in 2014.

MACHETE KILLS, releasing on October 3 will be the last release managed by current distribution partner, Studio Canal.

CEO of Icon, Greg Hughes said “The Studio Canal team headed by Elizabeth Trotman has done a superb job for Icon over the years and I’d like to thank them for the outstanding results that they have achieved for us. We look forward to extending our partnership with John Davie’s team at Roadshow who have been doing a fantastic job for us in the home entertainment market.”
