9 September 2013: Peppers Bluewater Resort Lake Tekapo and Peppers Clearwater Resort Christchurch feature on the ANZ Golf World show this week.

PGA Tour winner Phil Tataurangi and cricket legend Stephen Fleming join host Mark Leishman for a winter golf road trip through breath-taking Mackenzie Country. Driving the latest BMW's the threesome embark on a journey that highlights the relaxing and luxurious nature of Peppers resorts and quality cuisine, with a focus on local produce.

The two-day road trip takes them to the brand-new Cairns Golf Club overlooking Lake Tekapo and Clearwater Golf Club, Christchurch. Golf isn’t the only focus of the road trip as the boys are wined and dined by the award winning culinary teams at Peppers Bluewater Resort and Peppers Clearwater Resort.

The boys sample local cuisine at each resort, highlighting the 'Gourmet Food Trail' offering that Peppers resorts feature at their properties throughout New Zealand and Australia.

A unique menu choice at Peppers Clearwater is fresh eel, caught in one of the resort's waterways - a challenge the boys relished. Their catch was then cooked to perfection by chef Dean Ding, who served honey smoked eel with manuka chips.

The road trip not only shows off Pepper’s five-star food, villas, and apartments, but also includes magical footage of the surrounding area. As the perfect place to wind down and refuel after a day of golfing adventures in the South, Peppers provides the road trip boys with top of line service and accommodation.

ANZ Golf World screens on Wednesday 11th September on Sky Sport 1 at 9:30pm and Thursday 12th September on TV3 at 11:15pm.
