Tech Trailblazers Awards partners with The Icehouse to reach New Zealand’s finest enterprise tech Start-Ups
The Tech Trailblazers Awards and New Zealand’s Business Growth Hub The Icehouse are partnering to bring the best enterprise Start-Ups into the global awards contest.
Entrants from New Zealand will qualify for entry via the Tech Trailblazers Awards Emerging Markets category.
Entry submissions in this category only cost $50 USD per application which includes free entry into the relevant technology category and free entry into the Asia Pacific Trailblazer Cup.
The Icehouse CEO Andy Hamilton says the partnership is a great opportunity for Kiwi Start-Ups to get international exposure and recognition.
“Most NZ Start-Ups need to look for international market opportunities right from the beginning due to the limited size of the New Zealand market.”
“Helping entrepreneurs get traction overseas is an important part of the work we do and we are excited to partner with Tech Trailblazers Awards to further facilitate this,” he says.
Rose Ross, Founder and Chief Trailblazer says the partnership is a natural fit given New Zealand is a hot bed for Start-Ups.
“There are plenty New Zealand-based Start-Ups in a number of our technology categories such as big data, cloud and mobile tech, so the partnership with The Icehouse is very important to the Tech Trailblazers to reach those pioneering enterprise tech Start-Ups.”
“We are looking forward to a sharp increase in Kiwi contestants this year on the back of this partnership. And we also hope to see those startups do well in the tech categories and the Asia Pacific Cup which is new this year,” he says.
