Cogent Becomes Zeacom’s First NZ Gold Partner

Auckland, N.Z. 13 September 2013 – Zeacom announced today that Cogent has achieved ‘gold’ partner status, its first New Zealand partner to do so.

Zeacom’s Global Partner Programme, launched in June of this year, is designed to align Zeacom and its partners’ business outcomes through accreditation of sales, professional services and support personnel, as well as extended marketing support.

To achieve Zeacom Gold Partnership, Cogent has invested in its engineering and technical capability, including training specialist engineers and recruiting additional expertise. Cogent can now implement end-to-end Zeacom solutions in Multimedia Contact Center, Unified Communications and Business Process Automation and deliver a managed service experience to clients.

In 2012 Cogent changed to privately held New Zealand ownership, creating a highly dynamic and innovative services company.

“Over the last year Cogent has been creating new partnerships, products and managed services. A fundamental development is our consultative and partnering approach we apply to our client engagements”, says Ray Noonan, Cogent’s CEO. “Partnering with Zeacom is key to Cogent’s strategy for business growth and transformation. Cogent is pleased to advance our longstanding relationship with Zeacom by obtaining Zeacom Gold Partner status.”

Zeacom develops its software in Auckland, and sells through the channel in New Zealand and internationally.

“Business partners are integral to our success and Cogent’s commitment to achieve gold status will enable our companies to work even closer together,” says Michael Petruccelli, Zeacom’s APAC Director of Sales. “Our end users benefit from the Programme, as they can more quickly identify an accredited reseller and know with confidence that their technical and support needs will be met.”
