New CE for Community Energy Action Charitable Trust

The Community Energy Action Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Caroline Shone as Chief Executive of Community Energy Action.

Caroline brings with her a wealth of leadership, sales and operational management knowledge and skills gained across a variety of key senior roles and sectors in New Zealand and the UK. She is also very conversant with the current key market activities, market environment and key players and stakeholders of Community Energy Action’s commercial activities to support and fund its charitable aims and objectives.

Previous to joining Community Energy Action, Caroline was the General Manager at Air Con New Zealand Ltd, where she had considerable success in: growing the business, managing day to day operations, developing and maintaining key stakeholder and customer relationships and achieving successful supplier and franchisee relationships.

The Board of Trustees is confident that with the experience, leadership style and management expertise that Caroline is bringing to Community Energy Action she will: help the Board shape strategy for the future, achieve growth in the activities we undertake and confidently lead and manage the shaping and development of the organisation and its processes to deliver this with a high level of achievement.

Caroline’s appointment is effective from the 16th of September 2013.
