OPSM introduces a new APProach to eye testing
OPSM has today launched the OPSM Eye Check App; a fast and free way for New Zealanders to get a better understanding of their vision.
Grant Fisher, National Eyecare Director for OPSM said “We’re extremely excited and proud to launch the OPSM Eye Check App as part of OPSM’s commitment to improving the vision of New Zealanders.
“Regular eye tests are critical for all New Zealanders to check both the health of their eyes and general wellbeing. The misconception is that only those who have corrective eyewear need to have their eyes tested, however eye tests can also pick up on eye diseases such as glaucoma, as well as indicators for broader health issues such as diabetes.”
The OPSM Eye Check App takes users through a series of screenings for Near Distance, Contrast Sensitivity, Distance Vision, Astigmatism and Colour Vision in about two to three minutes. The innovative app will help New Zealanders gauge if they may have an issue with any of these areas of their vision, and book an eye test at their local OPSM store directly from the app.
The new OPSM Eye Check App is available to download for free from the iTunes App Store and Google Play today.
