Internal Affairs Contact Centre wins top award
The Department of Internal Affairs Contact Centre has taken out the top prize for New Zealand’s best mid-sized contact centre.
The CRM Consulting award, for contact centres with more than 50 seats, is the second time in a row the Department has won the award says Garry Manley, General Manager Customer Operations.
“For the past nine years our Contact Centre teams in Wellington and Auckland have done extremely well in the awards against competition from both the public and private sector. We have won the Supreme Award in 2009, 2012 and now 2013. And, for the last 11 years, we’ve been finalists in the Public Sector Category.
We’re proud of the way our staff have continued to deliver great service to customers over such a sustained period.
Our drive for success is all to do with the customer. The Department is really committed to excellent customer service. Our services touch nearly every aspect of New Zealanders’ lives, with passports, birth certificates, marriages, charities, community grants, citizenship so we take a personal approach to each customer.
Our customers from across New Zealand and across the world have told us that they really appreciate the way we deal with them.”
