CTC Aviation soars to new heights in Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200

Hamilton, New Zealand - World-leading airline pilot training provider, CTC Aviation, which operates a crew training centre in Hamilton, has soared up the rankings in the annual Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 list of British companies.

Having been a new entry and ranked 32 in 2012, the company’s international growth during 2012 saw CTC Aviation move up to 14th place, ahead of internationally renowned British brands such as Hunter Boot, Wiggle and Regatta.

The fourth annual International Track 200 awards recognised Britain’s private companies with the fastest growing overseas sales. The league table ranks companies according to growth in international sales over the last two years of available data.

Despite the weak domestic economy, the 200 companies on the league table grew their international sales over the last two years by an average of 44% a year to a total of £8.2bn. They employ more than 130,000 staff, having added more than 31,000 jobs during this time - some as a result of acquisitions. 1

Over the same period, CTC Aviation’s international revenue saw significant growth from £622,000 in 2010 to over £4m in 2012. The company’s staff levels increased by 75% and a significant number of international airlines joined the client list.

Speaking about the award, CTC Aviation Group Limited Group CEO Rob Clarke, said, “We were proud to be recognised in the top 200 in 2012 and I am absolutely delighted to see the Company being recognised again and soaring up the ranks.
