First in the World: SoFi Software now GRI G4 Certified

PE INTERNATIONAL is the first software company to receive G4 certification from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) as part of the GRI Certified Software and Tools Program. Customised for the GRI, SoFi Reporting provides an out-of-the-box solution for companies looking to generate reports based on the GRI Sustainability Reporting Framework.

“The Global Reporting Initiative drives sustainability reporting in many organisations”, so Barbara Nebel, Managing Director of New Zealand based PE Australasia and “therefore we are very excited that SoFi is the industry’s first software certified for G4 content.” GRI produces a comprehensive Sustainability Reporting Framework that is widely used globally to enable greater organisational transparency. The Framework sets out the Principles and Indicators organisations can use to measure and report their economic, environmental, and social performance.

Barbara Nebel rates the recently developed ‘SoFi Reporting’ as “an ideal solution for companies looking to report just on specific indicators in accordance with the GRI or CDP”. For more complex requirements, we offer an easy migration from SoFi Reporting to SoFi Enterprise.”

Elina Sviklina, manager of GRI Reporting Services said “We are extremely pleased to have completed our first certification of G4 content with PE’s software. They have been a long time Organisational Stakeholder and supporter of GRI”.

PE INTERNATIONAL has been a GRI Organisational Stakeholder (OS) since 2006. Organisational Stakeholders are at the heart of the global, multi-stakeholder network that constitutes GRI.

The certification, the first of its kind, verifies the accuracy of the G4 content and confirms that PE INTERNATIONAL provides a compelling platform for companies to report the most accurate and critical sustainability data. It also demonstrates PE’s on-going commitment to making sustainability reporting, often considered an exceptional activity undertaken by a minority of leading companies, a standard practice.

PE’s SoFi solution enables companies to quickly aggregate, validate and analyse sustainability information for fast, accurate, sustainability reporting. It provides organisations with insight into all of their social and environmental expenditures making it easier to manage issues across the entire value chain. In New Zealand leading companies like Meridian Energy and Villa Maria are using SoFi for their organisational sustainability reporting.

Analyst firm, Verdantix in its recent Sustainability Management Software Green Quadrant Report, named SoFi a market leader lauding it for superior functionality to enhance and expedite reporting processes.
