Pegasus Reaches 1,000 Sales Milestone

Pegasus Reaches 1,000 Sales Milestone

The rapidly increasing pace of progress at Pegasus has been underlined with the sale of the 1000th residential section in the town.

Leading Canterbury builder, Mike Greer Homes, secured the section for the development of a new house.

“This sale confirms the confidence that builders and home-buyers have to invest in the Pegasus experience,” said Evan Davies, Managing Director of Todd Property Group.

“We now have over 1,000 sections sold and close to 600 houses either completed or in construction.

“Residential sales at Pegasus have been very encouraging throughout the year. We believe that the recent announcement of the retail and commercial town centre and the new school opening in 2014 has added to the strong demand for homes at Pegasus,” said Davies.

Mike Greer Homes are currently constructing 20 houses and have completed 77 land purchases in the town, with that number set to increase as further sections are released.

“Pegasus offers much more infrastructure than any other development in Canterbury and that is increasingly attractive to our clients,” said Mike Greer, founder and managing director of Mike Greer Homes.

“The lake, the golf club, the school and the proximity to outdoor activities are all very important benefits to home buyers.

“Pegasus also offers a wide range of sections sizes and configurations compared to most other developments that have limited range and are mainly medium density,” he added.

The final two residential stages within Pegasus, delivering 277 sections will be released for sale before the end of 2013.

The total housing stock at Pegasus is forecast to reach 1,000 homes by the end of 2014 and when completed Pegasus will house approximately 4,500 residents in 1800 dwellings.
