Nelson Organic Skincare Company Secures Korean Partnership

MEDIA RELEASE

Nelson Organic Skincare Company Secures Korean Partnership

Nelson’s Plantæ Certified Organic Skincare has achieved another significant business milestone with the announcement today of a partnership with a cosmetics distribution company based in Korea, Organic Solution Co. Ltd.

Plantæ has grown quickly since its inception in 2012, acquiring over 40 stockists nationally in the last 10 months, in addition to gaining lucrative distributor connections in Canada and Europe, whilst building an increasingly popular e-commerce division.

Founder Carol Priest says the Korean deal is significant in terms of Plantæ’s international business development.

“The Korean order is our largest single order to date. Securing a Korean distributor is something we have been working towards since Plantæ was born, so this is highly valuable in terms of gaining a brand presence and customer base in Asia where we know the organics market is thriving,” says Priest.

Organic Solution Co. Ltd Director Sangchan Lee, who has a successful chain of Day Spas in Seoul and has been in Nelson for the past few days working on the Distribution Agreement, says he expects Plantæ to be very well received by the Korean market.

“Carol Priest has an esteemed reputation for producing high quality organic skincare products, so we are excited and honoured to have the opportunity to sell Plantæ on her behalf in Korea,” says Mr Lee.

“We have been importing organic and natural products for ten years, but this is the first ‘real’ organic product we have seen. Because of this, we predict Plantæ will become the number one brand in New Zealand and Australia in the very near future.”
