Boot Camp for start-up business success
Aspiring business operators can participate in a four - week Business Boot Camp starting on Tuesday 15 October at the Hutt Chamber of Commerce.
Hutt City CBD Business Development Manager Cyndi Christensen says the boot camp will provide the tools to get the best possible start in business.
The programme looks at the feasibility of a business idea and provides guidance in developing a business plan tracking potential business growth.
"The boot camp walks participants through the business essentials needed for sustainability," she says.
There are spaces for 30 businesses and participants will be selected to enter the MasterBiz Competition where proposals are pitched to a panel of experts from the business world.
Up to six business ideas will qualify for a prize package from ANZ, Learn.Fast and an opportunity to locate your business in the Hutt CBD, Cyndi says.
Hutt City Council is partnering with Learn.fast Centre and ANZ to run the business start-up workshops. The cost for the four-week programme is a single $50 registration fee.
