Boutique salon, Fusion is on the move in Waitakere
18th October 2013
Fusion is a boutique salon based in Waitakere that has a warm and friendly atmosphere teamed with top quality service. The team, headed by Tracey Baird and Becky Cole work together to provide seamless customer service and personalised results that has its customers raving. Sarah, a recent client stated “I've yet to find a place that quite compares and lives up to the standards of Fusion - if possible, absolute perfection in a hair salon. I would recommend this place to anyone”!
Tracey Baird, Fusion Director, has a 20 year career history which has involved running successful salons in London and owning ever expanding salons in New Zealand. She says, “Hairdressing is not only a job, it’s my business, and a great creative outlet; it has been my life and passion for two decades”. You can tell she means business when you see the loyalty and referral programmes, last year a client won a trip to Australia, this year it’s a trip for two to Rarotonga! She adds,” In 2006 I completed a fine arts degree, majoring in photography. This has allowed me to take my hairdressing to the next level, to not be afraid of pushing boundaries.” Whilst at Whitecliffe, college of arts & design, Tracey met Becky Cole, Fusion Co-ordinator / Intermediate Stylist and after Becky joined Tracey at her Massey base, the pair were so successful a move of premises was in order to expand the business.
On Friday 1st November Fusion will be holding an open evening at their new outlet, 104 Glengarry Road, Glen Eden from 6-8pm. Beverley Cole of Style Essence (the original founder, director and owner of Fashion Academy Ltd) will be attending as the guest speaker. Drinks and nibbles will be provided and you are welcome to view an exhibition of photography and illustrations by the girls. There will also be facilities to drop off any unwanted professional clothing which will be donated to the local charity, Dress For Success.
“…this is a great little hair salon. The customer service is outstanding, I think a lot of the "name" salons could take a few pointers from Fusion. I won't be going anywhere else from now on”. Karena
The salon also provides a mobile team for weddings, corporate events and Prom nights. They have an extensive team of make-up and photography freelancers who have worked on international fashion shows and major magazine covers
