1, 2, 3 Go! – A STQRY Mobile-App Competition
On 25 October (next Friday) STQRY (pronounced “story”) is launching a competition to encourage everyone to experience the best art, culture, history, heritage and wildlife New Zealand has to offer.
STQRY is a dynamic mobile app that allows locals and visitors to search for nearby attractions on their smartphone. The app also gives GPS directions and offers full multi-media content.
The competition, ‘1, 2, 3 Go!’ has two main prizes to be won including airfares to and from Wellington or Auckland, accommodation (plus breakfast and dinner) and exclusive behind-the-scenes activities at various venues.
When STQRY launched in Wellington in June 2012, they took New Zealand by storm. Now they are making their way across the US, including working with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise to tell the story of New Zealand during the America’s Cup in San Francisco.
“We want to showcase the best of New Zealand,” says CEO Chris Smith, “and we also want to promote the organisations across the country that are using STQRY as their interpretive mobile app.”
STQRY has over 150 customers -- predominantly art, cultural, historic, heritage, and tourist organizations -- and 100,000 active users every month.
To enter the ‘1, 2, 3 Go!’ competition simply download the free STQRY app, available on iPhone and Android, and ‘Check in’ to two (2) or more participating organisations.
The winners will be announced on 6 January 2014 through the STQRY Facebook page.
