Kagi Jewellery is Once Again in the Deloitte Fast 50

Kagi Jewellery is Once Again in the Deloitte Fast 50

Kagi jewellery designer and founder, Kat Gee has proved that although her business may appear to be all sparkles and pearls, behind all the glitz and glamour lies a very successful company.

The company is now celebrating being ranked at 17th place in the 2013 Deloitte Fast 50, the only jewellery based business in the list. Kagi is one of a handful of companies during the history of the Fast 50 to be placed on the list 3 years in a row.

This comes on top of being awarded the DHL Air Cargo Export of the Year award earlier this year.

The Deloitte Fast 50 operates in 32 countries/regions worldwide; celebrating the fastest growing companies and has become a barometer of successful, innovative businesses.

“I am absolutely thrilled to have Kagi recognised as one of New Zealand’s top growing businesses and to be the only jewellery brand awarded 3 years in a row highlights the success of our business formula”.

“We have got the recipe right and it’s a credit to my team that we have achieved what we have,” says Kat.

Kat attributes the success of Kagi to the close-knit team who have each “gone above and beyond the call of duty for the company.

“Listening to the customer is key and refining our product range to meet their needs.

“We design what women want to wear and what makes them feel beautiful everyday,” she said.

With a strong focus on multitasking jewellery in classic designs, Kagi has mastered the art of adding value to their product whilst keeping their price points affordable.

“Kagi is affordable luxury that works with a range of personal styles, thanks to the interchangeable attributes we have adopted, it’s the best of both worlds,” she said.

Now into their 8th year of business, Kagi has good reason to be confident with the direction they have taken over the last 12 months and making the Deloitte Fast 50 again this year has been a rewarding confirmation for Kat and her team that New Zealand women really do love Kagi.
