Russell Mcveagh Welcomes New Consultant Tom Maasland

Russell McVeagh is proud to welcome Tom Maasland, who is joining the Corporate Advisory team as a Consultant and head of the Auckland Information Communications and Technology practice.
Tom is an expert in technology and commercial law with more than 13 years' experience gained in both the United Kingdom and New Zealand. He joins us from Telecom New Zealand where he was Assistant General Counsel responsible for Telecom's strategic technology Projects.
Tom's expertise covers the full range of IT and telecommunications matters including outsourcing, procurement, systems integration, managed services and hosting, software licensing, intellectual property, media and entertainment, e-business and other general commercial arrangements.
Russell McVeagh's Information Communications and Technology team works with our clients to enable the seamless implementation of ICT solutions. The team has expertise in structuring, negotiating and managing complex technology contracts and can advise on project risk assessment, dispute resolution and commercial arrangements.
