Prime Minister checks out innovative Fleetwise solution

New Zealand’s leading independent fleet management company, Fleetwise, hosted Prime Minister John Key at the company’s offices in Palmerston North yesterday.

Fleetwise director, Abby Taylor, showcased the company’s newly developed innovative fleet management solution to the Prime Minister, highlighting the success already being made with government agencies such as the Ministry of Education.

Abby said it was a fantastic opportunity to show the Prime Minister the savings that can be made within what is often the highest expense category, after human resources, for many New Zealand businesses – particularly government departments.

“Our newly developed fleet management solution incorporates the company’s unique Pool Vehicle Booking System which allows businesses to accurately see when, where and who is using vehicles within a fleet and make changes to optimise usage and, as a consequence, make savings.”

Following the presentation and a welcome to the company by Fleetwise director Simon Taylor, the Prime Minister gave a short speech to those present about, among other things, the innovative work happening in the region.
