Staples Rodway partners with CPA Australia on professional development scheme

Staples Rodway Auckland, part of the New Zealand-wide Staples Rodway accountancy and business advisory group, has signed up to a world-class professional development scheme run by global accounting body CPA Australia.

CPA Australia’s Recognised Employer Program allows partner firms to demonstrate to current and future employees their strong, ongoing commitment to learning and development.

CPA Australia Country Manager for New Zealand David Jenkins says joining the Recognised Employer Program will help position Staples Rodway as an employer of choice for top New Zealand accounting graduates.

“We are delighted to have Staples Rodway as a part of our Recognised Employer Program. Through partnering with us, Staples Rodway can now offer a choice of professional designation to New Zealand’s best accounting graduates, which will make them even more attractive as a potential employer,” says Mr Jenkins.

David Searle, Partner at Staples Rodway Auckland says: “We have developed a very strong relationship with CPA Australia over the last few years. We have been impressed with the organisation and are very excited about joining the Recognised Employer Program.”

Other significant New Zealand employers participating in the scheme include Inland Revenue, Grant Thornton New Zealand, KPMG New Zealand, Cisco, DHL and AIA.

The Recognised Employer Program sees participating employers sponsoring and supporting their people on their career paths to becoming a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) – a globally-recognised post-graduate accounting qualification aimed at developing strategic business leaders.
