Just Cabins Just Keeps on Winning
Just Cabins was named Lifestyle Services Franchise System of the Year for the second year running at the Westpac New Zealand Franchise Awards 2013 - 2014, which were held at the Crowne Plaza Auckland on Saturday, 16 November.
The award is another feather in the cap for Just Cabins, which rents out portable cabins as extra rooms, offices or on-site accommodation and currently has 39 franchises operating nationwide.
According to the judges, Just Cabins “provides sound systematic approaches and information to support its 27 rental cabin franchisees. Its sustained growth has been testament to the rigorous planning, implementation and monitoring of business goals and performance. Just Cabins shows changes in products based on their systematic understanding and focus on customer needs.”
Franchisor Fenton Peterken says Just Cabins’ back-to-back wins are a tribute to everyone involved.
“Receiving this award for the second year in a row reflects the commitment of the entire Just Cabins network to the quality of our products and customer service. I am delighted that the Westpac New Zealand Franchise Awards recognises the effort made to ensure that Just Cabins has robust processes and procedures that support our business growth. These are the foundation of the consistently high standards our customers have come to expect from Just Cabins.”
Peterken was not the only Just Cabins winner on the night, with West Coasters Brent and Mary Lemon also taking out Franchisee of the Year in the Lifestyle Services category. The husband and wife team own and run the Just Cabins West Coast franchise and are the first ever winners from the region.
While quick to say that all this success isn’t going to his head, Peterken’s medium-term goal of selling all franchise areas in New Zealand by the end of 2015 is looking all the more achievable after Just Cabins’ wins.
“We’ve recently succeeded in obtaining policy approval by a major trading bank to finance cabins over a 7-year period, and this opportunity is now available to all franchisees,” adds Peterken.
With only 6 franchises now remaining, it would seem that investors will need to be “just in time” to grab a piece of Just Cabins’ award-winning pie.
