New local office opens for Qual IT with business growth forecast

Qual IT, New Zealand’s largest independent software testing company, has opened their first South Island office in Christchurch, citing growth mode and customer demand for investing in the market.

Five permanent jobs have already been created for local IT testers and more are being sought to manage their growing South Island client base headed up by Southern Business Manager, Greg Riach.

Qual IT’s Managing Director Shane Hewson says, “With a growing number of projects for our South Island customers, and the level of innovation amongst Christchurch companies, investing in new offices and putting the right staff on the ground to service our clients made sense.

“We are here for the long haul and we look forward to further building up our team and sharing our testing expertise in Canterbury- we are very excited to be here.”

“There is a huge amount of innovation happening in Canterbury right now, and we want to be part of it,” says Mr. Hewson. “We are also looking to invest in the recruitment of local IT resource as more Christchurch projects come on board. We are committed to the region”.
