The Chairman of Christchurch City Holdings Limited, Bruce Irvine, has today announced the appointment of Jim Boult as the new Chairman of City Care Limited.
Jim Boult replaces Tony King who was appointed to the board in 2003 and has been Chairman since 2008. In July Mr King advised that he had accepted a permanent role as Chief Operating Officer with Solid Energy and would be unable to continue as Chairman of City Care until the expected end of his term in October 2014. Mr King will remain on the board of City Care until that time.
Mr Boult has strong management and governance experience and was selected with a view to taking over the chairmanship of City Care. Mr Boult completes his contract as CEO of Christchurch International Airport at the end of the year.
