Jet Park Airport Hotel takes off with ServiceIQ

Jet Park Airport Hotel and Conference Centre won ServiceIQ’s Excellence in Training and Staff Development Award at the Hospitality New Zealand Awards for Excellence dinner last night.

Building on this success, Jet Park Airport Hotel also won The Hospitality New Zealand Supreme Award.

The other finalists in the Award were St John’s Heineken Bar, Wellington; The Dominion, Auckland; and last year’s winner, The Batch Café from Invercargill.
ServiceIQ Chief Executive Dean Minchington presented the Excellence in Training and Staff Development Award. “Our mission, our ‘war-cry’ even, is to develop trained skilled people who give a world-class customer experience. ServiceIQ promotes and arranges training that develops your employees’ skills and knowledge so they can make a great contribution to your business – and Jet Park Airport Hotel is certainly a great ambassador for that.”

That commitment to staff training and enhancement was also recognised in June this year, when Jet Park Airport Hotel Reservations Manager Janelle McClintock won the ServiceIQ Hotel Industry Outstanding Young Executive of the Year Award.

“Great staff in a great business are a winning combination, and Jet Park Airport Hotel’s ongoing success shows the value of backing talented staff with world-class training”, Dean Minchington said.
