New Shopping Centre Directory Out Now

New Shopping Centre Directory Out Now

The new edition of New Zealand’s only shopping centre directory has been released.

Property Council New Zealand and the New Zealand Council of Shopping Centres’ twentieth edition of the New Zealand Shopping Centre Directory features 157 centres around the country, including 13 new ones.

The directory has been prepared for the commercial property and retail industries with the intention of providing users with extensive information on individual centres.

This information includes ownership, management, location, key tenants, car parking, and vacant retail space.

For the first time since its inception, the directory contains exciting new features such as maps with demographic information including population, expenditure, ethnicity and income statistics.

New Zealand Council of Shopping Centres chairman Campbell Barbour says given the constant changing environment of the retail sector, it is helpful for stakeholders to have a reference document to go by.

“The Shopping Centre Directory has become an important reference document for those in the retail property sector. It provides up to date information not otherwise available in the same format elsewhere.”

The directory also provides information on how many centres are currently being developed and their estimated completion dates. It can be purchased by contacting Property Council.
