The Intermedia Group takes the espresso route to success

PRESS RELEASE

Dated 10 October 2014

The Intermedia Group takes the espresso route to success

Only months after the successful launch of Hospitality Business and FMCG Business, The Intermedia Group is already adding to its stable with a new b2b title, Café Business.

Bi-annual, it will cover all the important features, trends and new products for New Zealand’s café culture. The launch issue, in December, will also include the very best from this year’s Huhtamaki NZ Coffee Awards.

In an ever-constricted industry, The Intermedia Group has bucked the trend for shutting down printed magazines, by launching the new trade publication.

NZ Intermedia Group Managing Director Dale Spencer said, “New Zealanders have a real passion for good coffee and good cafes.

“Our partnership with the NZ Coffee Awards opens up a new and exciting path for the group and our café sector. Head of Content and experienced journalist Helene Ravlich will be steering the new title, so look out for fantastic new content from New Zealand and around the world.”

A teaser of Café Business will appear in Hospitality Business in October.

FMCG Business and Hospitality Business have enjoyed phenomenal response from their respective industries, category leaders and advertisers such as Red Bull, Yealands, Moa, Spark, Unilever, Sanitarium and Vodafone choosing the multi-platform offering of The Intermedia Group in New Zealand.

They also now boast the expertise of New Zealand’s only Master Sommelier, Cameron Douglas, who provides expert opinion and predictions for the wine category and review some of New Zealand’s best wine offerings.

“Our editorial and sales teams are taking B2B publishing to a whole new level of quality that we are particularly proud of,” continues Spencer. “More exciting plans are in the works as we strive to continue our leadership in each of the categories.”
