Everybody fits in at Campuspecs
Everybody fits in at Campuspecs.
Independent Auckland CBD optometry practice, Campuspecs, has positioned itself as the first practice in New Zealand to recognise that every person deserves to experience a high quality professional eye examination. The company aims to remove any financial barriers in its bid to ensure that these are accessible to as many people as possible over at least the next three months.
In an effort to cover all demographics this innovative practice will be offering free eye examinations to widely differing sectors of the community every week over the next quarter.
These may include, for example;
People
who love cats
People who walk to work
People who stare
at a screen all day
People who ride bicycles
People
who hate headlight glare
People who are left
handed
People who pick up litter
People who use the
bus
Managing dispensing optician, Ms Bernice Reddy, says, “Everybody should have their eyes examined at least once every two years, and we hope this initiative will make a full eye exam accessible to many people who otherwise may not have had one.”
Campuspecs has stated that the initiative will involve no means testing for qualification; Ms Reddy says, “People shouldn’t have concerns that they may need to bring their cat along to prove how much they love it! All we’re trying to do is convey the message that eye examinations are really important. Our aim is to ensure that over the next few months, as many people as possible who wish to take advantage of a free eye exam will be able to.”
Campuspecs is located at 36 Lorne Street, Auckland.
