REINZ CEO’s Resignation
REINZ CEO’s Resignation
The Board of REINZ today announced that the CEO Helen O’Sullivan has resigned from the company, following four successful years at the helm. She will however remain in the position for a further 3 months until February 2015, until she moves to her next challenge.
Chair of REINZ, Dame Rosanne Meo says that Ms O’Sullivan has achieved a great deal for the organisation since she began her tenure in November 2010. “Under Helen’s leadership we have made significant progress in understanding and implementing the much needed regeneration of the services and profile of the membership of REINZ. Helen will leave our organisation having well progressed the foundation projects, and having delivered an implementation plan for the future that has had strong engagement with our members. The Board thanks her most sincerely for her great contribution.”
Helen O'Sullivan said, “By the end of 2014, I will have been in the role more than four years. That’s a milestone for me because I will have delivered on everything I felt was needed to underpin the successful progress of REINZ over its next phase of growth. The building blocks are now in place,” she says. “It’s therefore time for me to hand over to the next CEO who will find a fantastic team there for support.”
Dame Rosanne said the three month notice period will give the organisation a good timeframe for identifying and appointing a new CEO into the role. John Peebles & Associates have commenced their search and we are confident of finding a successor who will lead the organisation into its next phase. “REINZ is in good heart and has clear direction endorsed by its members. We are confident that there will be a smooth transition to a new CEO. We wish Helen all the best.”
