New City to City Express Coach Service

City to City Express Coach Service Strengthens Regional Transport Links

Auckland, 12 November 2014 – ManaBus.com, the fast, friendly and affordable city to city express coach operator offering great value travel from $1 plus a $1 booking fee, says that it will strengthen transport links across the North Island when its services commence next week.

Geoff Norman, CEO of ManaBus.com says that the recent announcement about cuts to regional air services will have many New Zealanders reconsidering their travel options.

“One option that may have slipped off people’s radar is city to city buses. ManaBus.com offers a new alternative to travellers in the North Island, and industry leading travel times. We see enormous potential to grow the express city to city coach market by offering great value, high quality and customer focussed public transport services.”

In international markets ManaBus.com’s sister companies have reinvigorated the public transport sector and encouraged people out of their cars.

“Our experience from many successful years of operation in the UK, North America, Poland and Finland has proved that demand exists for fast, modern and innovative city to city, express coach travel.

"By introducing new products and services, and offering consumers more choice at affordable prices, we believe we can help to grow the total public transport market and encourage a shift from private cars.”

Starting on the Auckland – Wellington route on 21 November, ManaBus.com will have phased in (by 19 December) regular, convenient and reliable connections between eight North Island destinations, including Auckland, Manukau, Hamilton, Rotorua, Taupo, Tauranga, Wellington and Whangarei.
