Air New Zealand named Deloitte / AJ Park Company of the Year 2014

Auckland, 28 November 2014 – Air New Zealand was named the Deloitte / AJ Park Company of the Year at last night's Deloitte Top 200 awards ceremony in Auckland. The Company of the Year award recognises Air New Zealand's best overall organisational performance from the previous year and was judged on a range of financial, non-financial and other qualitative criteria.

In announcing the award, Air New Zealand was acknowledged as 'seriously punching above its weight in the international aviation arena and in a tough industry'. The company's performance highlights for the year included successful execution of the Government share sale, new strategic alliances and a significant investment in new planes.

In its 25th year, the Deloitte Top 200 Awards celebrate New Zealand's best businesses across nine categories. The Top 200 index is audited by Deloitte, and then reviewed by the Top 200 judging panel.
