Our Member credit unions and building societies serve their local communities by providing modern products and services expected in today’s market, with a positive focus on helping all New Zealanders improve their financial situation.
We have been operating as a co-operative and have been a representative of the financial cooperative movement for over 50 years now. Our new branding reflects the modern, friendly nature of our Members as they are today.

The word ‘Co-op’ in our name represents our Members’ strong 150 year co-operative history in working with their members and communities. The word ‘Money’ represents what our Members do day in, day out - help people sort out their money worries.

The three stylised people at the top of the logo signify our Member organisations, their members and the community, all cooperatively working together. The light blue is a colour that research often associates with feelings of freedom - in this case, freedom from money worries.

You’ll notice our email addresses have changed to ‘@coopmoneynz.org.nz’ and our website is now www.coopmoneynz.org.nz, but all of our other contact details remain the same.

We look forward to continuing to work together and be a representative of the financial co-operative sector.
