Mission Estate to Represent the Hawke’s Bay At Hobbit Premiere
Mission Estate has been selected to represent
wine from the Hawke’s Bay region at the world premiere of
The Hobbit.
The premiere for the third installment, The Hobbit: The battle of the five armies is being held in London on December 1, and Mission Estate is thrilled to be involved.
Only one wine from each region of New Zealand will be served to 200 journalists at the three-day Worldwide Media Junket. Mission Estate has been chosen to serve its Vineyard Selection Syrah 2013.
Peter Holley, CEO of Mission Estate says: “As New Zealand’s oldest winery, we are proud to showcase our wine at such an exciting and global event, and of course to represent the Hawke’s Bay region.”
Tourism New Zealand will theme the media waiting area Kiwiana and hopes guests attending will be able to experience a taste of New Zealand through the wines of the region.
