Opus Named Finalists in New
Zealand International Business Awards
Opus International Consultants has been named among the finalists in the New Zealand International Business Awards 2015 for Best Business Operating Internationally.
Opus, an international multidisciplinary engineering, architecture and infrastructure consultancy, has been shortlisted for the award alongside other leading New Zealand organisations.
“The awards celebrate New Zealand business success in the world, and recognise professional excellence and innovative practice, so we are delighted to be named as one of the finalists,” says Dr David Prentice, Opus Chief Executive.
“We’ve seen significant international growth since 2003, going from 1,200 staff in New Zealand to around 3,000 people across 91 offices in five countries today. Making the shortlist is a credit to the many talented people we have working for Opus around the world.
“Opus has an amazing pedigree. We started out as the New Zealand Public Works Department in 1870 and we’ve taken the expertise we’ve gained over the years and applied it globally to our businesses in North America, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Being recognised in this way is testament to Opus’ past, the impact we are now having internationally, and the great future we have ahead of us.”
The New Zealand International Business Awards programme, run by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and supported by Strategic Partner ANZ, celebrate the success of New Zealand businesses on the world stage.
