Fulton Hogan appoints new Group
CFO
Leading civil and resources contractor Fulton Hogan has appointed Theresa Mlikota to the role of Group Chief Financial Officer.
Ms Mlikota has been appointed following the decision by Chris Gallaher, the existing Group CFO, to retire at the end of June this year.
Fulton Hogan Managing Director Nick Miller welcomes Ms Mlikota’s breadth of knowledge and expertise.
“I have no doubt that Theresa’s broad leadership and finance experience will add value to our team.”
Ms Mlikota has over 20 years’ experience largely in the resources sector. She will arrive at Fulton Hogan having worked as CFO for Thiess Pty Ltd, Macmahon Holdings and Barminco Limited. She has also held senior management roles at Woodside Petroleum, Alinta Energy and Zinifex (now OZ Minerals).
Her expertise spans a broad range of finance disciplines including financial control, investor relations, risk, treasury, supply, IT, legal, and mergers and acquisitions.
The appointment comes after an extensive process to identify a strong candidate to take the reins from Mr Gallaher.
“The quality of the candidates attracted to the position has been excellent and this reflects the reputation that Fulton Hogan has across Australasia,” Mr Miller says.
Ms Mlikota will relocate to New Zealand to work from the Christchurch office but she will also operate out of the company’s offices in Australia, given the cross Tasman responsibility that the role demands.
Ms Mlikota will commence in the role in late January 2015.
