Veeam Achieves Record 2014 Results;

Bookings Revenue of $389 Million, 40 Percent Annual Growth

Veeam Surpasses $1 Billion in Cumulative Company Bookings Revenue

Veeam® Software, the provider of innovative solutions that enables consistent availability of services and applications for customers, whilst reducing their operational costs and improving security in the modern data center, today released highlights of its FY 2014 results. Total bookings revenue of $389 million were reported and a 40 per cent increase over the previous fiscal year.

“The exceptional growth we’ve seen in the New Zealand market shows that Veeam is on track to realising our global goal of becoming a billion dollar business by 2018,” says Charles Clarke, Technical Director for APAC, Veeam Software. “Locally, Veeam has seen a 35 per cent increase in total revenue bookings for 2014, while new license bookings revenue grew by 37 per cent year-over-year (YoY). In addition, the number of new ProPartners in New Zealand also grew by 40%.”

Regionally, Veeam’s business in APAC grew by 45% in total revenue bookings and new license bookings revenue grew by 39%. The fourth quarter of 2014 marks Veeam’s 28th consecutive quarter in which total bookings revenue has experienced double-digit percentage sequential growth.

Clarke adds, “Our solutions have enabled businesses to address the needs of the Always-On Business™ so they can break free from the regular nine-to-five working hours. IT in organisations are expected to make applications and data available to all stakeholders every minute of every day and deliver business continuity and IT resilience. Other key Veeam highlights in New Zealand and APAC include:

Customer Growth

o A 14% increase in Net New Customers in New Zealand in 2014.

o Customers in APAC: Increasing demand for Veeam solutions has resulted in the company increasing its Net New Customers by 25% in the APAC region for 2014.

Partners: Veeam has a total of 2,784 ProPartners across APAC to date, which includes 264 ProPartners in New Zealand, making up Veeam’s total worldwide partner base of 29,000 ProPartners.

Surpassed $1 Billion in Lifetime Bookings Revenue: Since the company introduced its first product in 2007, Veeam has generated more than $1 billion in revenues.

New alliances and VCP partners: In 2014, VCP partner LabTech released a beta version of a new plug-in LabTech integration. Veeam added Westcon Group (New Zealand) as a new VCP l aggregator, and formed an alliance with NEXTDC in Australia.

Enterprise Strength

o Large footprint: 70 per cent of the 2014 Fortune 500 list are Veeam customers, while 45 per cent of the 2014 Global 2000 are Veeam customers.

o Rapid growth: The number of enterprise customers grew 87 per cent year-on-year, while revenue from enterprise customers grew 140 per cent over that same period.
