Secured Signing Launches Major Upgrade

Secured Signing Launches Major Upgrade

Auckland, 10 February 2015

Local Digital Signatures service responds to customers with dynamic new look and feel

As the Australasian eForms and eSigning customised digital signatures service, Secured Signing is uniquely placed to listen to the needs of its users. This is reflected in the major upgrade to the Secured Signing service launched in January this year. Each new capability is a direct response to requests from existing customers and talking to people across Australia, and New Zealand.

The all new Secured Signing experience starts as soon as you hit the front page with a contemporary flat design. The standards based approach of Secured Signing means the site has always worked well across all devices. The dynamic layout used by the new site further improves mobile support, making best use of the screen real estate available. On the smaller screens of mobile devices everything is clear and easy to read without needing to ‘pinch to zoom’.

“More and more we are seeing people using our service from tablets and smartphones” said Mike Eyal, the Managing Director of Secured Signing. “For example, H&R Block told us their district managers really valued being able to sign documents immediately, wherever they were when the invitation arrived. This helped them avoid ending up with massive backlogs of documents to sign. So we knew improving the mobileexperience was a top priority for us.”

The new Secured Signing is about much more than a dynamic, contemporary look and feel. There is also a range of new capabilities and improvements to existing features.

Secured Signing offers an Australian Tax Office (ATO) approved, online tax file number (TFN) declaration service. To meet ATO requirements, a code required to complete the signing process is sent by SMS to provide a second form of identity verification. “Confidence in the identity of the person signing is important to our customers so it was obvious we should make this option part of the core service.” said Mike Eyal, Secured Signing’s Managing Director. Secured Signing now provides two factor authentication by SMS as part of the standard We Sign workflow that allows you to invite one or many people to sign your electronic document.

The ability for an invitee to Reroute or Decline invitations is an enhancement that will be particularly welcomed by procurement managers among others. It is typical that the people involved in finalising a contract or agreement aren’t necessarily those authorised to sign the final document. The reroute option allows the person receiving the invitation to provide the details of the person who has authority to sign the contract or agreement. Secured Signing automatically reissues the invitation and the document log captures the details of the reroute providing prefect transparency for the document owner.

Customers with libraries of PDF forms that can be filled on screen will also find much to love in the latest Secured Signing service. The updated Form Filler app recognises the defined fields as soon as they are added to the system. This makes it even easier to take your existing electronic forms, add them to Secured Signing and immediately start inviting people to not only complete them but also to sign online.
