MPA Announces Appointment of Executive Director

The Magazine Publishers Association NZ is delighted to announce the appointment of Pip Elliott as Executive Director. Collaborating with Commercial Executive Chloe Delamore, Pip will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the MPA but with specific focus on driving the MPA’s mission in the market: demonstrating the effectiveness, innovation and inspiration of magazines on and beyond the page.

Pip has a wealth of experience in the media industry and her previous roles place in her in an excellent position to advocate the value of magazines. These roles include General Manager of Netlink Distribution, General Manager of Sales and Marketing for the New Zealand Herald, media consultant for the Print Research Group, and more recently the General Manager of Roy Morgan Research.

Pip is looking forward to working with the MPA board and members to ensure magazines are top-of-mind for advertisers, retailers, agencies and readers.

Paul Dykzeul, MPA Chairperson, says “Pip’s appointment is an exciting move for the MPA. Her varied experience in management, circulation, communications, research, digital, sales and marketing makes her an ideal advocate for our diverse and vibrant community of publishers.”
